Abstract

The HTML title tag information describes exactly what a web page contains. Search engines support the title tag and the information in the title tag is searchable by web users because search engines, such as Yahoo and Google, support the TITLE command. The objectives of this study may be expressed in terms of the following:

In summary, the purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the title tag in web page ranking.
